We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and can be based at our Reading, London, or National Centre offices.

 

As a Project Manager you will help people with sight loss to live the life they choose by ensuring successful delivery, implementation and governance of strategic projects within Guide Dogs ensuring the successful delivery of new products, services or systems in partnership with the business.

 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Professional qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP, PM Apprenticeship).
  • Experience in leading teams in a project management context.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Programme Management Principles: Solid understanding of methodologies and frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMI) essential for effective project delivery, from inception through to closure.
  • Efficiency Methodologies: Awareness of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Agile methodologies to drive process improvements and operational efficiency within programmes.
  • Charity Sector Insights: Knowledge of the challenges and needs specific to sight loss, ensuring projects are aligned with the mission to support individuals with sight loss.
