Supporting people with sight loss live life independently is at the heart of what we do. As a Marketing Campaign Executive (known as a Single Gifts Executive at Guide Dogs) in the Fundraising team, you would play an important part in this.
The Marketing Campaign Executive assists with the delivery of tactical retention and acquisition Single Gifts (Cash appeals and Raffle) fundraising campaigns. This involves supporting with administrative and campaign related tasks such as:
- reporting on results
- proof reading/reviewing collateral
- copy writing
- collating/actioning feedback
- managing print production
- producing wrap up reports
- working to budget and more
By supporting the delivery of our fundraising activity and helping us achieve campaign objectives to budget and on time you’ll be helping people with sight loss live the life they choose.
Candidate requirements
To be able to fulfil this role, the skills and experience we are looking for in a potential candidate include;
Essential
- Proven experience of working in a busy environment with a successful track record of delivering against competing priorities and achieving deadlines
- Great multi-tasking skills
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders/suppliers
- Experience in, and comfortable with, receiving and actioning feedback
- Demonstrable understanding of direct marketing principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience of working in the charity sector
- Demonstrable ability to be proactive and problem-solve
